III Republican scientific and practical conference with international participation«Two countries – one heart and more…» took place on the base of RSPC «Cardiology» on December 1st, 2017. Leading specialists in the areas of cardiology and cardiac surgery from Italy, Russia, Lithuania and Belarus took part in the work of the conference.

 

 

Questions of minimally invasive surgery on the aortic valve (TAVI), reconstructive operations on the valves of donor heart, ECTS and ESC 2017 Valvular Heart Disease Guidelines were discussed on the conference.

 

 

 

For the first time in Belarus separate session dedicated to 3D-technologies in medicine took place for dentists, urologists, obstetrician-gynecologists, cardiologists, cardiac and abdominal surgeons.

 

 

 

 

II Academician Sidorenko’s Contest of young scientists «Forward to knowledge, youth!» went through within the confines of the conference.

At the first stage RSPC «Cardiology» commission had heard reports of young scientists. 11 best reports of young scientists were selected.

 
 

 

 

 

At the second stage award ceremony of winners and laureates of the Contest took place. Winner in each of the nominations was awarded with diploma and memorable prize in money terms. Laureates of the Contest were awarded with diplomas of I, II and III grade in the appropriate nomination.

Third grade diplomaYuri Ivanovich Linnik (Minsk, Belarus) – Cardiac surgeon, RSPC of pediatric surgery.

Third grade diplomaValeria Dmitrievna Krachak (Minsk, Belarus) – Cardiac surgeon, Department of extracorporeal circulation, RSPC «Cardiology».
