President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko has signed decree «About Rebuplic of Belarus 2016 State premium conferment». State premium Yuri Petrovich Ostrovsky (Head of the Cardiac surgery laboratory, M.D., Ph.D, professor, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus) and Valentukevich Andrey Valentinovich (Head of the ICU №2) were awarded with State premium for the development and implementation of the organ transplantation technology.

Test access to Springer resources is available now. It is carried out from internal network of the Centre. Access will be available from the 10th of April to the 10th of July. It includes following materials: Springer (more than 2000 titles), Nature (84 titles) and Palgrave (53 titles) journals, and also 2016 e-book complete collection (more than 9400 titles).

“Woman’s health is nation’s health” seminar which was organized by members of public association “Belarusian Women’s Union” took place in the conference hall of the shopping mall “Arena City”. 35 women who are chairpersons and members of primary organizations PA “BWU” in the Moscow District of the city of Minsk and also members of Minsk City organization PA “BWU” took part in the seminar.
During the seminar lection on the topic of “Cardiovascular disease prevention among women” by E.K. Kurliandskaya, Head of the Chronic Heart Failure laboratory of the RSPC “Cardiology”, and lection on the topic of “Proper diet – guarantee of health” by dietologist L.L. Borisenko were read. Master Class “Movement is the way to woman’s longevity” was held in the gym after lections.

Specialists of the RSPC “Cardiology” found the way to improve complex operation on elimination of heart defect inevitably leading to the death of young people. Doctors have printed first heart model on 3D-printer in Belarus specifically for this.
